Fundations

Fundations is a prevention program to help reduce reading and spelling difficulties. It makes learning to read fun while laying the groundwork for lifelong literacy. Students will learn letter naming, sounds and printing.

Early Steps

Early Steps is a beginning reading program for developing readers, that focuses on basic word identification, phonemic awareness, spelling skills, fluency, and comprehension.

Higher Steps

Higher Steps is a reading intervention program for more advanced developing readers, that focuses on improving multi-syllable word identification, spelling skills, fluency, and comprehension.

Wilson Reading System

The Wilson Reading System is for students who are not making sufficient progress in reading intervention, who may require more intensive instruction due to a language-based disability (Dyslexia). This program focuses on phonemic awareness, decoding, sight word recognition, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, oral expressive language development and comprehension.

Step Up to Writing

Step Up to Writing is an organizational program for all levels of writers, from the most fragile to those who are gifted and talented. It teaches writing strategies within the writing process (pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing, final copy, proofreading, and sharing) to help students organize their thinking and their writing skills. 

Words Their Way

Words Their Way is a spelling program that focuses on phonics, vocabulary and spelling instruction. This program also helps enhance student learning in phonemic awareness, fluency and comprehension.

Text Talk

 

Text Talk is a vocabulary program with a focus on helping vocabulary-deficient children catch up early to prevent reading comprehension difficulties. The program challenges students to actively think about and use vocabulary words.

Math

 

We focus on math Common Core Standards. We recognize that each school may have their own unique math program, so instead of using a specific program, we help students succeed in the math program they are currently being taught at their school.

We have highly qualified teachers available to help students with homework in all subject areas.
