Tricia is passionate about literacy and loves to read. She is the Director of Student Services at J.E. Cosgriff Memorial where identifies and supports students with disabilities and manages  school wide assessments. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Consumer Studies and Economics from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from Utah State University. She also completed a Special Education Evaluator Endorsement through Midwestern State University and is qualified to administer and interpret standardized assessments, which aid school teams in the determination of a students eligibility for special education services. She has worked as a resource teacher for the past 13 years specializing in reading and writing. During this time Tricia received certifications in Early Steps, Next Steps, Higher Steps and The Wilson Reading System (Level II), and is a certified Wilson Dyslexia Therapist. She is also trained in Fundations, Just Words, Step Up to Writing and Words Their Way.
